Chevy Chase Schools

Chevy Chase is served by the Montgomery County School District. Public high schools in Chevy Chase are among the best in the country, according to a 2008 issue of Newsweek magazine. Bethesda-Chevy Chase landed in the Top 100 in the Top of the Class 2008 index that rated 1,300 U.S. public high schools.

The index calculates a ratio that includes the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and/or Cambridge tests taken by all students divided by the number of graduating seniors.
